MLS NEXT
The MLS Next league represents the pinnacle of boys’ youth soccer competition in the United States, hosting the nation’s best teams and players. AC River is the only club in San Antonio that participate in the MLS Next league, providing a comprehensive pathway to the professional game for U13 to U19 players.
TEXAS NEXT
Texas Next is the second division of the MLS Next league. This groundbreaking league emphasizes competitive excellence while allowing high-performing athletes to engage in their local high school sports. Texas Next teams train alongside our MLS Next teams, ensuring constant challenges and opportunities for players to advance to the MLS Next level based on their individual development.
United Premier Soccer League
The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is North America’s largest and most competitive pro-development league. Positioned in the 4th tier of the US Soccer pyramid, the UPSL bridges the gap between youth and professional soccer. With nearly 400 clubs, the league offers year-round competition, fostering the growth and aspirations of players and coaches.
Western District Division One Association
Designed for boys and girls between 11 and 12 years old, the Western District Division One Association (WDDOA) is dedicated to providing high-quality soccer competition and development opportunities for youth players.  Through well-organized leagues and tournaments, WDDOA aims to elevate the standard of youth soccer and nurture the next generation of soccer talent.
Player Development Friendlies
The Player Development Friendlies (PDF) League is a premier soccer program designed to provide kids under 10 with top-tier competition and development opportunities. With structured friendly matches and focused training sessions, the PDF League aims to nurture the next generation of soccer talent. We are dedicated to helping young players achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
MLS Next
